Our 52 Weeks of Giving in Memory of Wayne Gray is pleased to provide a $10,000 gift to The Adventure Group. For over 30 years The Adventure Group has worked with the most vulnerable populations in PEI and provides evidence-based skill development and personal growth programming.
These programs include a Life Management Program, Prosper Program, and employment-based initiatives. The programs allow individuals to develop key life and employment skills that help them reintegrate into society. 👷‍♂️💼
In 2022, the organization expanded its services and took on operations of the Community Outreach Centre. This center serves the largest group of individuals experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness in PEI seeing an average of 232 individuals per month. 🎁The gift we are providing will help these individuals with basic needs that includes nutrition, primary care, educational and academic upgrading, activity and programming.
