52 WEEKS OF GIVING IN MEMORY OF WAYNE GRAYThis week to assist two worthy organizations in the eastern and western part of PEI, the 52 Weeks of Giving in Memory of Wayne Gray is providing a $5000 gift each to Transportation East and Transportation West.
Transportation East’s mission is to provide accessible, equitable and affordable transportation services in Eastern PEI. The gift will be used to provide accessible and affordable transportation to seniors, people with disabilities and low-income families that have limited access to transportation. They currently have five drivers, and a coordinator to lead the operation and a fleet of five accessible vehicles and two ambulatory vehicles. 
Transportation West’s primary focus has always been to serve those who need affordable transportation in the West Prince Region. Their service is provided door-to-door as many of their passengers are seniors and individuals with disabilities or special needs. The gift will be used to take low income passengers from the West Prince area to Charlottetown for medical transportation.
