🐎Horse Powered Programs 4 Youth offers hands-on experiences with horses that help children and young adults break through barriers and learn skills that will empower them to live their best lives.
Horse-Powered Happiness, Leadership and Literacy are the foundation of the skills taught to assist participants with learning how to cope during hard times, understand the core values of leadership and improving their fundamental reading skills. 📖
Through this interaction, participants become more aware of their feelings and emotions and their ability to adjust and adapt to change an outcome. Some immediate outcomes achieved include developed trust, respect and empathy. Long term results include mental health, well being, emotional growth and independence.
Horse Powered Programs 4 Youth work with Island schools, guidance counsellors and student well-being teams to identify kids who will benefit most from these programs, all free of charge. 💫
