✨This week The Gray Group’s 52 Weeks of Giving in Memory of Wayne Gray is providing a gift of $10,000 to University of Prince Edward Island to support ensuring that the Robertson Library is accessible to all. 📚
Robertson Library has always been a vital resource for the UPEI students and community, and they want everyone to feel welcomed and supported in the space. In preparation for the renovations the university commissioned an accessibility audit from Spinal Cord Injury PEI. ‍♿️
Their findings revealed that the current fixed reading and computer tables are not wheelchair accessible, preventing some of the users from fully utilizing the library. 🎁The gift will allow UPEI to install ten height-adjustable reading and computer tables, making the library truly inclusive for all.
