This week our 52 Weeks of Giving in Memory of Wayne Gray is pleased to provide a $10,000 gift to the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry.
Over the past 30+ years, the demands of the Upper Room have increased as more families and individuals experience financial hardship, high cost of living, and food insecurity.  The Upper Room relies exclusively on donations of both food and funds. Many local farmers, businesses, churches, groups, and individuals supply the Upper Room with non-perishable food items, fresh meat, veggies and fruit, as well as financial donations.
This donation will help their mission of taking down barriers for people in need of food support and will help support purchasing healthy food products that go directly to their clients at the Food Bank and Soup Kitchen.
In addition to their monetary contribution, The Gray Group generously volunteers the time of their entire team on Giving Tuesday to support the Upper Room with essential day-to-day tasks. Pictured below is the team presenting their gift to Mike MacDonald, Executive Director of the Upper Room, before heading off to begin their assigned duties.
