Week 52 of 52
This week The Gray Group’s 52 Weeks of Giving in Memory of Wayne Gray is pleased to support the Prince Edward Island Ground Search and Rescue (PEIGSR) with a $10,000 gift. PEIGSR is a volunteer-based, non profit, charitable organization that serves all of PEI. The group is on-call 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, PEIGSR members respond at all hours of the day and night and in all seasons.
PEIGSR’s mandate is to search for an rescue individuals who are lost or injured. The fulfill this mandate, PEIGSR volunteers train multiple times a year to practice and maintain skills in navigation, survival, first aid, search techniques, search management, clue identification, tracking and more. 
The donation will be used to maintain their vehicles and trailers keeping them ready for deployment, assist in costs associated with ongoing training of new and current members as well cover the costs of personal protective equipment required to keep our members safe while on active searches.
