This week our 52 Weeks of Giving in Memory of Wayne Gray gift of $10,000 is to Prince Edward Island Association for Community Living.
This organization aims to develop a culture of inclusion and diversity where everyone can participate fully in all aspects of community life regardless of their personal challenges. The main goal of PEIACL is to empower individuals and their families to lead the way in self-advocacy and advancing inclusion in their communities. 
he gift will be able to enhance their supporting families’ initiatives for persons with intellectual disabilities, along with families, supporters and caregivers. In addition, this gift will allow sessions to be organized with various community partners to address issues identified by persons with an intellectual disability and their family. Family retreat weekends, and respite connections will also be planned to allow families the opportunity to bond with others on similar journeys, with staff available to support siblings’ other family members.
