We are looking for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team, based out of Charlottetown, PEI. The ideal candidate would share our core values of being honest, wanting to grow professionally, having the capacity and knowledge of the position and being proactive.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of commercial and residential facilities and the included real estate.
  • Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects to modify commercial and residential properties.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Plan and manage the facility’s operations budget.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility.
  • Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment’s machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Co-ordinate cleaning, snow removal and landscaping operations.
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services.
  • Plan and manage a facility’s maintenance budget.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience
    Strong negotiation, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage project budget.
  • A high degree of client service orientation.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and performance.
  • Experience in working with confidential information and respecting the importance of confidentiality.
  • Drivers license

Salary

 $40,000-$60,000 – based on experience
