In addition to commercial real estate, The Gray Group owns and operates Island Drafting, H-Line Enterprises, KOA Cornwall, Cantrek Tire & Supply and Fox Meadow Golf Course. 

We are looking for an experienced Director of Development to join our team, based out of our Charlottetown, PEI. The ideal candidate would share our core values of being honest, wanting to grow professionally, have the capacity and knowledge of the position and being proactive.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and oversee the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects  
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables and requirements 
  • Develops and implements project plans 
  • Determines resource and budget requirements, cost estimates and timelines 
  • Identities project risks and develops and implements mitigation and contingency plans 
  • Oversees the activities of project team members and monitors project task completion 
  • Communicates project status to relevant stakeholders 
  • Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental and health and safety requirements 
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements 
  • Select trade subcontractors and plan, schedule and coordinate their activities 

QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience as a developer  
  • Strong negotiation, time management and organizational skills 
  • Post-secondary education in construction management or related field 
  • Ability to develop and manage project budget 
  • A high degree of client service orientation 
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and performance  
  • Experience in working with confidential information and respecting the importance of importance of confidentiality
