We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team, based out of the Charlottetown, PEI office at 20 Great George Street.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of capital maintenance projects execution for existing properties including but not limited to schedule development and management, budget development and management, internal approvals, design and construction document production, RFP processes, construction, and completion.
  • Manage the annual capital planning budget for existing buildings.
  • Develop and manage operations manuals for existing properties that would include building plans, systems within the property and key structural features.
  • Asset tracking and strategic replacement planning/reserve fund allocation.
  • Manage, develop and execute the preparation of detailed fit-up projects scope and budgets.
  • Bidding and negotiating general contraction services for systems within the properties such as HVAC maintenance and replacement.
  • Detailing project scope of work then tendering and requesting proposals for project bids.
  • Conduct a feasibility analysis on project viability prior to awarding and executing projects.
  • Bring a project to close-out. Follow up on defects and ensure that they are rectified on time and within the defect-liability period.
  • Organize and ensure we are leveraging all warranties and available funding programs.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience overseeing the work of engineers and contractors.
    • Experience in real estate project management.
    • Experience in developing a critical path method schedule.
    • Understand building operations and facility management.
    • Experience maintaining budgets and capital planning.
    • Excellent time management, prioritization, collaboration, people, communication, presentation, reporting and numerical skills and the ability to deliver optimum outcomes under pressure and within established timelines.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
