Special Olympics is such a meaningful organization that uses the medium of sport to assist persons with an intellectual disability to become all that they can be – physically, mentally, socially, emotionally – and to become accepted, respected and productive members of society.
Our 52 Weeks of Giving in Memory of Wayne Gray is grateful to be able to support this organization, in particular their upcoming Provincial Summer Games. This Summer 44 athletes will attend the Special Olympics Nova Scotia and Special Olympics New Brunswick Provincial Summer Games. Special Olympics PEI attend Provincial Games off Island in order to ensure quality competitive opportunities for their athletes.  Our gift will make a significant impact in supporting these opportunities for our Island athletes.
In addition to gifts such as ours, Special Olympics PEI is able to provide quality sport programs to our athletes because of the commitment and dedication of our volunteers and coaches who give countless hours every week to Special Olympics, for those individuals we are truly thankful!
