This week 52 Weeks of Giving in Memory of Wayne Gray is pleased to be supporting My Biggest Fan Foundation. This is a non-profit organization based out of Stratford created by NHL Hockey Player, Zack MacEwen, and his family to honor the late Craig MacEwen, Zack’s dad.
The MacEwen family and this meaningful foundation through its fundraising are able to offer support for hockey players and their families, in the form of: Scholarships for hockey schools, post-secondary education, and camps.
Financial support for hockey registrations and tournaments.
Equipment for players in need of support.
The main fundraiser every year is their golf tournament which is held at a Gray Family of Companies property, Fox Meadow in addition to Belvedere. Last year’s tournament raised were able to raise over $107,000 and every cent goes back helping as many kids as possible. To date they have been able to support over 500 individual or team requests.
