✨ 52 WEEKS OF GIVING IN MEMORY OF WAYNE GRAY ✨
Our 52 Weeks of Giving in Memory of Wayne Gray is supporting an organization that may not be as well known to everyone, Island Nature Trust.
Island Nature Trust has been in existence since 1979 is at the forefront of safeguarding Prince Edward Island’s natural wonders. As the longest-serving private land trust in the province, their commitment to conserving wildlife habitats across forests, marshes, ponds, rivers, and offshore islands is unwavering. Their mission is to create a network of protected natural areas that encapsulate the diverse native habitats of Prince Edward Island.
We felt it was important to support Island Nature Trust because they use their donations for:
🌳 Land Acquisition and Stewardship: Land acquisition remains at the heart of their conservation efforts. By securing and maintaining critical habitats and ecological corridors, they ensure biodiversity protection and the resilience of our natural landscapes.
🐾 Species-at-Risk: For decades, their staff and volunteers have tirelessly worked to protect species-at-risk, combat invasive species, and conserve habitats. Their commitment remains strong to ensure they conserve not only land but also the wildlife and plant species to enhance biodiversity and the value of our province.
We believe that our gift will contribute to a sustainable future where wildlife and nature thrive.
